Voldemar “Wally” Parg
Passed away suddenly at his home in Toronto on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the age of 93.
Beloved husband of the late Erna (2007). Predeceased by his daughter Ingrid Gibbs (2008), by his son Paul Parg (2006) and by his grandson Ryan Gibbs (2001). Survived by his grandson Michael Parg, by his daughter-in-law Heidi and by his son-in-law Trevor Gibbs. Lovingly remembered by his family and friends in Toronto and Estonia.
A Private Family Committal Service and Interment for Wally will be held at the Minden Cemetery, Minden on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 2:00 pm.
A Service to Celebrate Wally’s Life will be held at St. Peter’s Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church, 817 Mount Pleasant Rd. (just North of Eglinton) on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 11:00 am. Reception will follow in the Church Hall (downstairs).
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Ryan Trevor Gibbs Memorial Fund # 8071 at the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated and can be arranged through the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Bobcaygeon Rd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0.
