We were so sorry to recently learn of Paul's death. He was a wonderful neighbor to us when we lived next door in Hunter Creek Estates, sharing perennials and discussing flowers and nature. When we lost our home there June 8, 2011, Paul was kind enough to let us store our freezer in his garage until we got organized with our new home. We had wonderful chats with him and will miss him. His lily of the valley and forget-me-knots are doing well under our cedars and it is wonderful to have this reminder of a great neighbor. Sincerely, Beulah & David

Paul was always very helpful and treated me with respect. He will be sorely missed. My condolences to his family.

Working with Paul at the book shop is truly one of the highlights of my time in Minden. I often look back fondly at my time there. As cantankerous as Paul often presented himself, he used that to hide a heart that was gold-plated marshmallow. I will miss him dearly.
