I have been blessed to know "Gracie" for about 25 years or more and have shared as we used to always say "the good, the bad and the ugly" together. We have laughed, we have cried, we have shared our hearts and lives and have found great support and understanding and a deep common bond in our relationship.
We have shared weddings and funerals together, we have seen our children grow up and each one has been a blessing to each of us. Gracies heart is open to help anyone in need and often stretches herself to do something for someone else.....she is quiet and yet so much fun once you get her started. She loves the Lord Jesus as her Savior and stands firm in her faith which together as believers and trusting God we have gotten through so much.
I remember well play the worship music in church and when Pastor would open the praise service by asking for 'favorites' Gracie would always be first to raise her hand and request some 'ancient' hymn no one has sung in years and Gracie and my beloved Ron were the only ones who knew it...but we played it and all learned a new but old song to sing praises with. She was a treasure.
I will miss my sweet friend, I will remember her caring and sharing and laughter and singing and all the adventures the two of us got into for many years.
Rest in Jesus arms in peace my 'sister'. Love and beautiful memories follow you
