The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothijean Connors can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Jen Hamilton
Condolence: My grandma was a spunky and very outgoing woman who lived her life to the fullest. We would always keep in touch through letters or cards in the mail. I will definitely miss keeping in touch with her and our visits from time to time. She will be deeply missed by all.

Condolence From: Val Jarvis
Condolence: I was so blessed to have been given the chance to sit with Dorothijean as she slipped away into the loving arms of her Lord. She told me last year that she couldn't understand what was taking Him so long to come for her. Her words were "I just want to see my beautiful, beautiful Jesus".
His light shone through her in every way, every day of her life. She was my friend, mentor, prayer partner, substitute Mom and she showed me what a "real" Christian looks like. She will be missed by so many of her friends. She just loved Haliburton and her "little blue house" that reminded her of the sky. She thought that, perhaps, she had to stick around for Steve's sake but, it appears, God was willing to share her with many, many others. I know she brought sunshine in to the Extendicare and she lived, loved and finished well. Thank you to the "team" that made her last years the best she could hope for. You are wonderful.
