Very saddened to hear of Alan's death. So long to a long time dear friend, and a Royal Canadian Navy veteran. STill can picture Alan home on leave many, many years ago, and how sharp he looked in uniform. Alan didn't have a mean bone in his body, and had a laugh and a smile that was contageous. Many fond hunting and other memories, full of laughter, and friendship, with one of the last of the "Dukes of Haliburton." Thinking of you Gloria, and your family in this most diffucult of time.

So sad to hear of Alan's passing . He was always a friendly face on the main street. Of town . We always chatted when he and I where putting in the awnings on Bernstein's and my Dads store . Those many years ago at closing time.

Dear Gloria & Family'
I know you'll hear this time again, but what a great guy Alan was. His easy way, whether helping with a shoe purchase at Bernstein's, or just chatting on the street, was so appreciated.
