Condolence From: Denham and Joanne Dingle
Condolence: We were sorry to hear that June had passed away and we extend our sympathy to June's family. We are members of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church - the church to which she belonged in her latter years here in Lindsay and where Joanne knew here through the "Women's Missionary Society." We became more involved with June through the local "Friends of the Library" for, once she was in a seniors' residence, she found it more difficult to get around and so applied to "the Friends" for our "Home Book Service." Denham visited her to find out her reading tastes and, thereafter, visited her - sometimes with Joanne in tow - as often as was necessary to provide her with reading material . . . some of which was suggested by Verona. However, the visits were not only about the books but about our church and her faith in addition to the story of her interesting life and her family, some of whom we knew long ago. She was an out-going person and we are sure she will be missed by the community in which she spent her last months.
