Obituary for Steven Douglas Taylor

In Loving Memory of Steven Douglas Taylor
Passed away at home in Haliburton on January 22, 2024, at the age of 70.

We are all saddened and devastated by the sudden loss of Steven Douglas Taylor. Proud and loving Father of Michael (Sarah) and Nicholas Taylor. Caring and thoughtful husband to Mary Taylor. Proud and affectionate Grandad to Jackson and Charlotte Taylor. Loving brother to Peter (deceased) and Nancy Taylor. Loving uncle to Shelley Owen and Nicole Mortson (Peter). Kind and dear friend to all that had the privilege to meet and know him. Especially the friends he had in Toronto and the ones he recently made in Haliburton, Bill Jackson, Julie Cooper and the residents at Park Lane apartment complex.

Steven had a way with people that made them feel comfortable and know they were important. He was an attentive listener and was always willing to help in any way he could. His love for cooking and baking added the extra comfort level when people were in need. His energy and enthusiasm will be missed by all and we should all take solace in the great memories we shared with him. Rest in peace Steven.

It was Steven’s wish to be cremated and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Private family interment at Prospect Cemetery, Toronto.

Memorial Donations to the Arthritis Society choice would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged through the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0.
