In Loving Memory of Nellie Evylean Miscio
Nellie Miscio, aged 93, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2020. She was born in Minden on April 5, 1927 to the late Mike Miscio and Annie Voicey.
Nellie was a loving mother and a homemaker who worked tirelessly to look after her family. She loved cooking and baking and had many requests for her recipes which she loved giving away. Her spaghetti and meatballs and her butter tarts and apple pies were exceptional and nothing pleased her more than to watch her family eat the food she had prepared. She had many hobbies and loved the outdoors.
She was predeceased by her brothers Alfred, Petrol, Alvin, and Carl and her sisters Eva, Vera and Ruth. Her two sisters Ruby & Glady survive her. Nellie raised 9 children which included 2 sets of twins. Barb & Blanche
(deceased), Linda, Gary, Ken & Keith, Gail, Harold, Jr. (deceased) and Bonny (deceased). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A private burial will take place. When we are again able to gather together, a memorial service will be held.
