In Loving Memory of Mary Frances MacDermid (nee Mazi)
Mary peacefully passed with family by her side at Hyland Crest Home, Minden, ON, on Saturday, April 25th, 2020, at the age of 84. Mary MacDermid started teaching in a one room school house at 18 years old, retired at the young age of 55 and loved to travel. Mary was married to Gordon MacDermid for 22 years, and was partner to Siegi Speckner for 15 years. Fondly remembered by and dear mother of Kenneth (Joanne) MacDermid, Carol (Greg) MacDermid and Sandra (Jeff) Mathews. Loving Grandmother of Kenny (Anaty) MacDermid, Alysa MacDermid, Jessica MacDermid, Tracy Mathews, Steve Mathews and Mark Saville. Great-Grandmother of Findlay MacDermid. Dear sister of Joe (Barrdeen deceased) (Dianne) Mazi and Kathleen (Karl deceased) Fleck. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews.
A private burial service will be held at a later time at St. Mary’s R.C. Church in Williamstown, Ontario.
