Obituary

In Loving Memory of Margaret "Peggy" Louise Elizabeth Brown

Passed away peacefully at her home in Norland on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the age of 73.

Dear mother of Kenneth (Robin), Lora, Barbara (Stuart), Richard, Michael Hogben and baby Berry. Loving Gramma to Cassi, Courtney and Kirstan and great grandmother to Madison, Nevaeh, Khianna and Khoulton. Fondly remembered by her forever friend George Berry. Dear sister to Bob (Grace), Jean (John-deceased), Bertha (Tom-deceased), Wendy (Alvin), Danny (Wendy), Bucky (Wendy), Vera (John) and predeceased by Bill (Jane). Peggy will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.

Peggy loved her gardens, they were her passion. If you were in need of a friend, Peggy was only a call away and if you needed a pick me up, a plant from her own collection would appear on your step. Peggy will be greatly missed by her besties, Chip & Dale, the chipmunks that have taken over her deck. Alvin & Simon are grieving looking for their friend & their peanuts. She will be missed by all that she touched. Peggy, we expect the gardens to be beautiful and full, until we meet again.

It was Peggy’s wish for cremation and a Celebration of her Life will take place at a later date.

Memorial Donations to the Lakeridge Health Foundation – Oshawa (for the cancer care centre) would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged through the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0.
