Passed away peacefully at Hyland Crest Senior Citizens Home, Minden on Sunday, March 3, 2019, at the age of 88.
Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Corby) (2018). Dear father of Linda Kernohan, Judy Davis, Craig Cowan and his wife Nancy, father-in-law of Ken (deceased) and Lonnie. Loving Poppy to Gregory, Stacey, Clay (Vanessa), Gaten (Danielle), Vanessa (Taylor), Callie, Katelin, Tanner, and great grandpa of Devyn, Meghan, Owen, Lauren, Adelaide, Alannah and Lennon. Dear brother of Mervin, Doreen and Ferne. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Friends are invited to visit the family at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Bobcaygeon Rd., P.O. Box 427, Minden K0M 2K0 on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm and then of Friday, March 8, 2019 from 12:00 o’clock noon until the time of the Service to Celebrate Lavern’s Life at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow in the Monk-Cray Family Centre at the funeral home. Spring Interment at Twelve Mile Lake Cemetery.
