Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Thursday, September 12, 2019, after a brief illness, at the age of 87.
Beloved wife of the late Lorne Henry Woolacott (1998). Dear mother of Elmer (Ann) Smith, Sharon Ventress, Brenda (Jerry) Horvath, Ken (Cathy) Woolacott, Ron Woolacott (Emily Pritchard). Loving grandmother of Dan (Annette), Al (Derylanne), Brad (Angela), Jim (Shannon), Lori (Will), Leigh-Ann (Greg), Lindsey, Chris (Kelsey), Jennifer (Matt), Skye (Mikey), Michael, Mark (Nicole), Eliza (Shawna), great grandmother of Katie, Courtney (Morgan), Adam, Ryan (Kayla), Erin, Amy, Olivia, Owen, Mitchell, Emily, Grady, Jordyn, Jessie, Makayla, Jeremy, Prudence, Hazel, and great great grandmother of Logan, Lily, Evelyn and Landon. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Edith Smith, brothers Orville and Wayne, sister Pauline Ventress, and by daughter-in-law Rose Woolacott. Fondly remembered by her family and friends.
Friends are invited to visit the family at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Bobcaygeon Rd., P.O. Box 427 Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0 on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 11:00 am until the time of the service to Joyce’s Life at 12:00 o’clock noon. Reception will be held in the Monk-Cray Family Centre at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at the Essonville Cemetery.
Memorial Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
