In Loving Memory ofJoseph McNamara
Passed away peacefully at home in Kinmount, with his family by his side on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, just shy of his 98th birthday on January 23rd.

Beloved husband of Doris (nee Robinson) (deceased 1999) and dear father of Patricia (Fred), Cathy (Dave Allan deceased 2016); and lovingly remembered by son in law Murray King. Loving grandfather of Mandy, Ben, Jason and Terry (Jen), great grandfather of Colin, Tyler, Emma, Kayleigh and Laine; and great great grandfather to Liam and Liah. Predeceased by his father Joseph, mother Beatrice and sisters Helen, Marie and Peggy. Lovingly remembered by his sister Barbara Klich and family, the Duncan family clan, many family and extended family members including Tammy, Mellissa and Ashley.

Joe, a WWII veteran was an air frame mechanic in the RCAF Stationed in Summerside, PEI. For many years he was known and respected in the Boat Top and upholstery business he operated in the York, Kawartha and Haliburton Regions. He was a past President and Life Member of Branch 441 Royal Canadian Legion, Kinmount, and affectionately remembered by his legion comrades as Papa Joe. He will be remembered for his generous contributions and community spirit.

Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a Celebration of Life in the community will take place at a later date.
