John Wesley Allan McMullen 1939-2021

In loving memory of Allan McMullen who passed away peacefully with loving hearts by his side in his winter home in Minden Ontario on Thursday January 21st, 2021.

Dearly beloved husband of the late Carol. Dearly cherished partner of Sharron. Loving father to Diane, Jeff (Mary) and Kathy (Guy). Loving grandfather to Shawn, Travis and Jay. Beloved brother predeceased by Tim, Paul and Mike. Cherished brother of Joyce. Cherished brother-in-law to Margaret.

He was a devoted grampa, husband, partner, father, father-in-law, brother, brother-in law, uncle and friend. He held everyone with compassion and was always available and welcoming. His love of music and his singing and playing guitar brought people together and was appreciated by all who had the privilege to hear him sing a country song.

In keeping with Allan’s wishes, a cremation has taken place with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date to honour a life well lived.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd.

Jeff & Kathy, We're so sad to hear of your Dad's passing, and send our heartfelt condolences to you and the family. We have so many wonderful memories of your dear father, including memories of Al & Carol playing cards with George & Rose, and Al & George venturing on fishing excursions to nearby lakes. Your Dad was someone we would look forward to chatting with on the dock, and we enjoyed hearing him sing & play guitar from afar. The last time we spoke to your Dad in the fall, he shared updates about his family and was always so proud of you. Your Dad was a kind and special man, and will be dearly missed. With regards, John & Arlene Wiseman
