In Loving Memory of James “Jim” William Howe
Passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. At the age of 81.

Dear father of Cathy, Jeff and his wife Tracy. Loving poppa to Brittany (Ian) and Jordan (Bailey). Dear brother of Barbara (Ross) Ballantyne. Fondly remembered by Shirley and by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Jim owned and operated James Howe Builders since 1965 and James Howe Crane Services for 30 years, Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and was a lifelong member of the Haliburton County Home Builders Association.

A Memorial Gathering to Celebrate Jim’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 636, 12847 Highway35, Minden on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm., with a time to share memories at 12:00pm.

Memorial Donations to Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation – Community Support Services (HHHSF) would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged through the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0.

Jeff and Cathy and families. We are very sorry to hear about Jim. He was a hard worker and built beautiful homes/structures. I will never forget him allowing me to use his propane TV at the cottage. Sending love. Paula and Ivan.

Cathy and Jeff sorry to hear of your dad's passing. We got to know Jim through the building of our cottage on Boshkung Lake. He became a good friend, we spent many hours snowmobiling and fishing together. We are thinking of you. Don and Mary
