Obituary for Florence "Flo" Taylor
In Loving Memory of Florence “Flo” Taylor (nee Billings)
Passed away peacefully at the Quinte Health North Hastings, Bancroft on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the age of 88.
Beloved wife of the late Fred (2000). Flo is survived by all three of her children; Greg and his wife Lenore, Jane and her husband Randy Barras, Barb and her husband Tim Davies, by her grandchildren; Simon, Mark (Hilary), Matt, Rebecca, Desmond, and Taylor. Also survived by her brother Moss Billings of Lindsay and her sister Emily Elliot of Petawawa. Lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
She was very active in the community and was especially proud of her work in bringing the Maple View housing complex to the Wilberforce Community, where she served on the board for many years.
Flo’s Funeral Service will be held at St. Margaret’s Anglican Church in Wilberforce on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning at 12:00 o'clock noon. Interment at the South Wilberforce Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #624 in Wilberforce.
