Obituary for Donna Lee McKnight

In Loving Memory of Donna Lee McKnight

It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Lee McKnight on January 4th, 2021 at Kingston General Hospital. She would have celebrated her 68th birthday on January 21st.

Donna is predeceased by her parents, the late Lloyd and Edith McKnight and by her brothers Lloyd “Snuffy” and Brian McKnight. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and community. Donna was larger than life itself, the bell of the ball and the person everyone could count on.

She was currently employed at Easton's Valu-Mart and was a valuable employee and friend to all. Previously Donna was employed by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #636 and the Minden Curling Club.

Donna grew up in a house filled with music and she was seldom without her guitar. She loved nothing more than entertaining either as herself or her alter ego “Aunt Martha”.

A Graveside Committal Service and Interment will be held at the Minden Cemetery, 200 Bobcaygeon Rd., Minden on Saturday, July 16, 2022 beginning at 12:00 o'clock noon. Cremation has taken place. The wearing of face coverings would be appreciated.

Memorial Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #636, Minden or Kidney Foundation of Canada (by cheque only) would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged through the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Bobcaygeon Rd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0.
