Passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital on November 29, 2018 with family at his side.
Survived by his son Gordon (Jamie), grandchildren Kyle, Megan & Trevor; predeceased by his wife Violet, son Neil & daughter Kathranne. Byron was Chief Operations Officer for Save the Children Canada, retired in 1989 and moved to Haliburton. During his retirement years he enjoyed woodworking, gardening and his part-time work at Haliburton Home Hardware.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, a private family service will be held at a future date.
