I worked at CCG Bell Canada in the 1980s and BRIAN and I walked every day at lunchtime for about three years ,until he got transferred into the communications seminar. What I remember about Brian is that he was a gentleman, very responsible about his work but most of all he talked about his family. Brian and I lost touch when I left Bell Canada in 1988 to start a radio station, but I'll always remember him as a good friend, that I should've stayed in contact with.

Devon he used to talk about you a lot as well as your sister and we used to compare notes since my son Mike and you were the same age my daughter was born the same time as your sister. It was very hard on Brian when your sister became ill.

I remember very well our coffee breaks, including Brian revealing to me the rumour that Darth Vader was really Luke Skywalker's dad and the time he said he went to see the movie scanners with you Devon and he did a good imitation of you going "dad, did you see that, the guy's head just blew up! Also, his trials of driving from Port Perry to Oshawa in a crappy Toyota, then taking the Go train all the way to Union Station. The thing is he never complained about that, but gave me a description of how humourous it was when he Gord in the morning and the car wouldn't start.

I'm sorry for your loss.
