Obituary for Arthur Ouellette

In Loving Memory of Arthur “Art” Ouellette
(Art was a linesman with Bell Canada for over 30 years)

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful and dignified passing of Art on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the age of 93.

Cherished, devoted partner, soulmate and best friend to his partner Barbara (Lyons). He will be dearly missed by his son Michael and his wife Jenny, grandson Carter, by his beloved family and lifelong friends; Jack Virgin, Brian Rivers, his many tennis and poker friends. I would like to thank the staff and residents at Frost Manor for his excellent care for the last 3 ½ years.

Art has a passion for the outdoors, loved his family, friends and helping the community. Art will be always remembered for his garage whether it was creating special treasures or hosting gatherings for his tennis and poker buddies. As a tennis player, Art maintained the tennis courts for decades, as a pro tennis player he was dedicated to maintaining the structure and the game. Art played up to the age of 85 until his health would no longer allow him to do so.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate Art’s Life will be held at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Bobcaygeon Rd., P.O. Box 427 Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0 on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11:00 am., with a reception to follow in the Monk-Cray Family Centre at the Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.

Memorial Donations to the Ontario Lung Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
